Mochi!Iceland X Reader

You opened the box to see two things: a dizzy mochi and a bird. Well, not really a bird, it's more like a penguin looking bird thing that you've never seen before. It looked quite like a penguin, but doesn't look as heavy as a penguin. Well, you don't really know how to describe it, it just looked like a new animal you've never seen. However, it does look cute though, plus the other cute mochi in the box. By the time you turned your attention back to the mochi, it had already calmed down enough and was staring at you. The mochi had purple eyes that is really pretty and looked like the silent, quiet type, maybe like animals too, since there were a penguin looking bird along with it. Guess you are having two cute pets then.

However, it was opposite to what your impression to the two, well, the bird is. The little mochi was cold and quiet as you thought, but then it warmed up to you. Turned out the mochi is a full of emotion, hot-blooded one that sometimes just childlish and cute. His name is Emil, a Iceland mochi with the bird that the internet called Puffin. Emil called him Mr. Puffin though and he loved the bird very much. However, you aren't on the same boat with him. Despite its innocent and cute look, the puffin talks like a mafiaso. Seriously, it was downright rude and treated you like a maid. You were its owner, for goddess sake! You considered getting rid of the bird, but Emil loved it so much, you worried that it will be heart-broken when you've gotten rid of the bird. Besides, there were a reason why the bird was also in the box, right? Therefore, you tried your best to put up with the rude demands of the bird.

You tried, you tried your best, but you can't ever keep your calm without snapping at the bird and scared poor Emil. Your patience is getting thinner everyday. Then one day, the bird suddenly vanished without a trace. Poor little Emil was totally worried, he looked for Mr. Puffin everywhere he could find, even outside on the streets, on the trees (Which you had to stand guard if he fell down or something), and many places. However, Mr. Puffin was nowhere to be found. You, inside was very happy that the bird has gone, but there was a little part that is a little guilty of how sad Emil was. So, the only choice is to comfort the poor little cutie. You tried many method, from hugging, whispering comforting words to distract him with his favorite Licorice. It only worked for a while when Emil started to get worried again and about to cry. You yourself felt like crying too from the mochi's sadness. The perfect emotional moment was shattered when:
"Hey woman! Make me some fish!"

Damn that bird.
