Before mythical creature was discovered, humans thought themself to be the most superior one, above the animals and insects. When they found out there were creatures powerful than them, they tried to eliminated them. Some out of fear and some just want to find power.
However, there were some human who lived in harmony with the mythical ones, and the mixed race appeared. It wasn't accepted, as expected. Then the war came, between the magical ones, half and full against the humans. The magical one won, humans accepted the halfs and they lived peacefully with each other, though some still didn't accept it.
Time passed, people changed, the halfs became stronger, even stronger than the full-blooded one. And afterall, they are still part of human. They grew greedier and search for more power. More wars, and the mythical creature lost, broken and forgotten. They hid themself somewhere humans can't reach, and refused to trust anyone again. Things went downhill then, the nature was slowly dying, plants wilting, the mist covered the forest. And darkness appeared.
Then, there was 3 people, who came together to change the world. They learned and trained their magic to the strongest trying to create a revolution, a miracle to bring harmony back to the magical one and the human, to fight against the darkness. Yet, their opinion, their aspect of saving all the race changed. They split up and turned their back to each other.
"That is when you come in. Someone told us in our dream that you'll tell us the path we supposed to take. Well, in my opinion anyway." He finished
"But I'm just a normal person!" You exclaimed.
"A mermaid you mean?" He smiled. Ah, forgot that he was supposed to be magical.
"But then, isn't fairies supposed to be more magical?"
"This isn't related to being more magical or not. It was pointed that you are the chosen one. That won't change. But I believed in your choice."
"T-This is too much. Me being the chosen one? This burden is too great...." You looked down.
"We don't have much time. Please think about it quickly. Because a lot of people is looking for you and they'll try their best to force their point of view on you. No pressure, really."
No pressure you say.
