It was morning, you woke up at the chirping of the birds. Your eyes opened a bit to adjust to the bright light before getting out of bed to do your personal hygiene. Now you were staying at the house. Yes, you could have change your mind and refused the offer that Yao made after hearing the price. However, unfortunately, he apparently have some kind of magic that after you said yes, a paper popped out of nowhere with a contract and your hand was controlled to sign the contract. And woa la! You had to be here, not to mention that Yao person sure ran fast, or teleport since he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Since you cannot do anything about the contract, better start working to pay the debt then. Now, what kind of item you will sell? Of course the shop had to be emty, no item at all. You don't have enough money to have a decent meal, let along buy things. There is no way you'll sell your own stuff, it keeps your disguise steady and not suddenly turn you back into a mermaid, or just stay human forever. Now, this is a very hard problem to solve. You opened the window to look around.
"Hey, I heard there are some very nice items at the dungeon. You can get them for free!" Two women passed through your window chatting.
"But, I heard that there are monsters there. They are very dangerous."
"That why there are adventurers for hired! You just ask them to find things for you."
"Ah. You're right!"
Free items at dungeon? How convenient. I should go there. You thought cheerfully, forgotten about the fact that there are monsters there.
So, here you are, at the gate of the dungeon, without the care in the world at how you could be hurt somehow. Well, everything went eventfull at first, you found lots of mushrooms and necklaces, bracelets and swords. You wondered how those ended up in the dungeon though, usually it was seen in the blacksmiths, shops and stuff (you explore enough yesterday to know)
Maybe someone dropped those You shrugged it off and kept going deeper.
Then you saw a big treasure chest, bigger then what you saw before. So of course you ventured there and open it. Unfortunately, it was a trap and there was lots of slime surround you.
There was nowhere to run.
